Quality Control and Certifications

Flameproof Electrical Enclosures Limited manufacture products in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO9000: 2000 Quality Management System and is audited on a regular basis by independent auditors.

“Quality Management” means what FEEL does to ensure that its products satisfy the customer's quality requirements and comply with any regulations applicable to its products.

There are eight Quality Management principals that are used to assist in striving for improved performance. The principles are:

The use of this standard avoids the application of systems that are separate from our organisations business processes. Therefore it creates a more logical and effective approach to managing an organisation, which is process based.

The ATEX certified (Directive 94/9/EC) Explosion Protected products, are not only manufactured to the above but are also covered by a separate “Quality Assurance Notification” that requires FEEL to be audited by an independent Notified Body on a regular basis, to ensure, compliance with specific quality points, relevant to explosion protected products.
